About Earth To Mars - FREE ALBUM DOWNLOAD

Work on EARTH TO MARS began on January 9th, 2007. Starting out as a science-fiction/paranormal/occult-themed home recording project, Pete (Illuminati 3, With Scissors, Radio Mast) plays and sings everything on the recordings with the help of programmed drums, synths and samples.

The first version of the live band included Joe (also a member of With Scissors), and Kate (Nimrod's Son, The Indelicates) and after a few practices we played our first gig in April '07.

It was at the Rest Bar, Worthing with Zangief (Liverpool) in front of about 5 people and a mad guy's imaginary dog. Encouraged, we went on tour...

July 2007: 1st tour - 10 gigs around the UK with Circus Act (Southampton).
Pete - Guitar / Vocals
Kate - Bass / Vocals
Joe - Drums
Machines - Samples / Synths
Nick - Driver

Then we did a few more gigs in Brighton, played live on Radio 1, and did a silly photoshoot in our shiny silver spacesuits. Somewhere between tours Kate left to concentrate on the Indelicates, and in stepped Leigh from Dacsha.

October 2007: 2nd tour - 10 gigs around the UK again, this time with Action and Action (London).

After the tour we went on a bit of a hiatus. Pete went to live in Canada, Joe got engaged and continues to play in With Scissors and loads more, and university-bound Leigh can be found playing in Dacsha, Aged Yummy and Left Lung Right Lung.
